Diving

Diving Koh Samui is a great diving archipelago with PADI Diver Courses from complete beginner up to instructor available in many languages. Entering the professional world of scuba diving brings exciting challenges and endless possibilities. Diving on Koh Samui, Koh Tao and The Angthong Marine Park is a great way to start.

Scuba diving is the sport of swimming deep underwater and using self-contained breathing apparatus. Through carrying a container of compressed air, a diver is able to remain underwater much longer than with the natural breath holding methods used in Snorkeling and Free-diving, and is not held back by air-lines to an attached air source. The scuba diver usually swims underwater by using flippers on the feet. A few divers do move around with the assistance of a DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle), commonly referred to as a "scooter", or by using surface-tethered devices called sleds pulled by a boat.
